Background

The Iqrit Residents Association was established in 2009 on the initiative of the Iqrit Residents Committee with the aim of building an official and legal framework to continue representing and leading the struggle of the Iqrit residents to achieve return and rebuild Iqrit on the lands of the town.

The Association’s Objectives

Working for the return of the Iqrit residents to their village and obtaining their private and public rights.

Maintaining and preserving the church and cemetery in the village of Iqrit.

Strengthening social relations among the people of Iqrit and strengthening their sense of belonging to their country.

Vision

Ending the reality of displacement and achieving the return of Iqrit to a prosperous and populated city with its people living their normal lives.
